The Acts 1:8 Renewal Weekend
The purpose of the Acts 1:8 Renewal Weekend is to provide church members with a biblical presentation of Acts 1:8 and to show how this passage applies to our current cultural climate. Our desire is to inspire an interest in intentional missions in all areas of the world exactly as described in Acts 1:8.
The Acts 1:8 Challenge: Empowering the Church to Be On Mission, by Nate Adams, is a weekend conference conducted by visiting team members and led by a visiting Church Renewal Journey Coordinator. The weekend follows the Church Renewal Journey format, so that planning for the weekend will be essentially the same as preparation for a Lay Renewal Weekend.

That preparation is to be conducted by the laity of the church. The teaching portion of the weekend can be led by the pastor or a Bible Resource Leader secured by the visiting coordinator. A guide is available to assist pastors considering an Acts 1:8 Renewal Weekend. Download yours here.
