Acts 1:8 WeekendsThe Acts 1:8 Student and Renewal Weekends are great ways to inspire, motivate and equip students and adults to be on mission for God where they are and throughout the world!
The Acts 1:8 Challenge Student Weekend is modeled after a Disciple Now Weekend, which is a retreat-like event that takes place in the homes of church members. Guest leaders are recruited to lead small groups of students (6 to 12 per group) in a weekend of Bible study, fun, and in the case of an Acts 1:8 Challenge Student Weekend, direct mission action.
The Acts 1:8 Challenge: Empowering the Church to Be On Mission, by Nate Adams, is a weekend conference conducted by visiting team members and led by a visiting Church Renewal Journey Coordinator. The weekend follows the Church Renewal Journey format, so that planning for the weekend will be essentially the same as preparation for a Lay Renewal Weekend. |
